History

Ferretti SRL idea was conceived in 1964 by Giuseppe Ferretti, who decided to transform Due Ponti, a small fraction of Fontanigorda (Genoa) in a proper village.

His son and current CEO Raffaele Ferretti decided following his father’s steps to enter in the construction market. However, in 1980 he wanted to change his company aims by entering and betting on the railway industry.

The company grew exponentially since that moment, and it successfully triplicated its revenue from 2009 to 2018, earning the trust and the esteem of colleagues, competitors, and clients. The experience, the ambition, and the passion for the innovations, transformed a single person’s bet into a solid group formed by three autonomous companies.
